Villa 5

Great stay clean and safe great communication

We found bed bugs in the first bedroom & immediately notified the host. Because of the seriousness & concern about bringing them home, we left & contacted Airbnb Support. I understand bed bugs may be outside a host’s control & I was willing to understand that. What upset me was the lack of empathy & concern for us as guests. His response was simply, “You can share those pictures here also.” There was no apology or offer to help us safely proceed. Then he sent a standard checkout message with instructions without acknowledging what had happened. When I expressed my disappointment, he became defensive, questioned my “lack of transparency” because I had not sent him the pictures directly, & said he could come to the property immediately. I was told by the housekeeper that he would refund us, but the process seemed to start only after contacting support directly. The bed bugs themselves were not what upset me most. Unexpected issues happen. It was the lack of empathy & concern.

We were in town for a wedding and this place was the perfect option for us. Very quiet, easy to find, and cozy.

Thanks for the wonderful stay! It was extremely peaceful!

We had a great stay and the home worked perfectly for what we needed. It was clean, comfortable, and the host was responsive and easy to communicate with. We especially appreciated the coffee that was provided—it was a thoughtful touch! Being from Louisiana I miss my Community Coffee

Great communication and great place to stay!

This was a nice enough stay. The dryer did not work and we had loud neighbors however, David dealt with the party renters and we were back to the peacefulness that the listing advertises. The villa is in a nice area that felt safe from the start and is quite comfy. I would stay here again.

Our stay was wonderful! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the check-in process easy. The location was convenient and close to everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a great experience. Thank you for your hospitality!

We absolutely loved David’s place really clean.

This cute villa was perfect for us city folks. Home was just as pictured and peaceful. Highly recommend!!!

Positive: Very convenient for us. Enjoyed our stay Negative: Nothing

Priced right and Clean Positive: The space was clean and roomy. The fact he had a washer and dryer was very nice. I would recommend this to friends and family. If I am ever in this area again I will stay here..

Nice apartment in a quiet location.

Very clean and homey

I stayed here for one night and it was very clean and a very nice stay would book again!

wonderful stay, place was clean and comfy.

i absolutely loved staying here!

House was clean and as described overall. Hall bath tub needs attention and bathroom was not completely clean. Only other issue was communication. We were told we could check in a couple hours earlier bc we needed to be ready for a wedding but the code was not delivered to us until the original time even with emailing to ask again for it. Again not a deal breaker but the reasons for not giving a 5 star. Location is quiet. Would maybe just try another one of the villas.

Great place for an “at home” feeling, & clean!

Villa 5 was a lovely, clean and spacious place to stay!!! Positive: The property was clean and well kept! Villa 5 has a large kitchen and living room area, two large bedrooms and two full baths. Villa 5 is nicely decorated and has a cozy feel to the place! Negative: Only two issues of note. There’s a hornet’s nest above the front door which needs to be removed. The main bathtub has some staining and damage around the drain area.

Nice quiet place

Positive: Everything was really nice!🙂 Negative: The main bathroom tub DEFINITELY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED

Exactly what we were looking for

Positive: I love how nice the place was and the stay. Very quiet area. Negative: Wasn't able to log in to the wifi and notice hair in one of the showers we didn't use yet.

10 Stars all the way!!! Amazing place!

This property was very convenient for our holiday stay to visit family. The owners were very responsive to our questions and during check-in. Thank you for a great place to stay during our trip home.

I have stayed here for a few months and love it so far. In town for work and David has been a great host. I will definitely continue staying here in the future and highly recommend. Plus great amenities.

In town for a wedding near by, nice place to stay!

The house is as advertised, with the exception of some maintenance issues. I have sent photos to the owner so that they can be tended to. We had a wonderful stay and the home was very close to the venue we attended. Very fairly priced. It’s a beautiful home in a great location, but it needs some tlc.

David provided a nice comfortable home away from home for me and my family. If in the area I would definitely book again.

I only had a few minor complaints; however, David responded and sent his cleaning lady out to solve the problem. Though we had already cleaned it, it was definitely reassuring to have him send her out on her off day to address and solve the problem at hand. David is so awesome and I always feel at home at his properties.

David is always amazing. It’s definitely worth every dime.

The Benton Villas e stayed on are very nice. Comfortable beds tvs in every room. Washer and dryer. Safe area. Everything you could need. Would definitely stay there again. Owners were easily accessible if you have an issue. 10 out of a10

Great spot for a quick getaway.

We were in Tickfaw to visit relatives. Our villa was so nice and easy to come and go from. My cousin from Baton Rouge said next time he'd also just stay at one of the villas.

Thank you

Nice place and Quiet place in Tickfaw.

Location was great, clean, relaxing. Outdoor patio nice. Bath tub in big bathroom needed help and air freshener would be nice…smelled a little stale. Overall..we give it a 9 1/2!!! Thanks for the visit!

David was a great host and this was the perfect spot for what was needed. Thanks David!

This was my first time using an AB&B all the hotels I was looking into has some bad bad reviews David’s place was amazing felt just like home ! No more hotels for me !

Mr David’s house was a home away from home for me and my family. Mr David himself is an AMAZING host, really friendly, and so willing to help

Awesome

This was our second time to stay in Villa 5 and we thought we had found the perfect place to break up our trip from Oklahoma to Florida. The bathroom is in serious need of repairs. The toilet overflowed with the first flush of liquid waste only and we could not find a plunger. We got to Walmart 10 minutes before they closed and purchased a plunger. I mention the time because we arrived at Villa 5 late and our parents were already asleep in the bedroom that had the second bathroom. The plunger did not fix the issue and we had to wait to use the second bathroom until the next morning. David did offer to come first thing in the morning but we were checking out early so we told him not to worry about it. We are hoping the bathroom is fixed before our next trip because we really like the location and other aspects of Villa 5.

The stay was wonderful

The place was everything he described about the place. Also he was very friendly and responded well when it came to questions about the location

Great communication with host led to a smooth check-in/out. Nicely decorated, fully equipped with comfortable beds.

Great host

Great host will help you any way he can to make your stay enjoyable.

Thanks David everything was awesome i will definitely use your services again

The place was very clean and spacious enough for us.

Es una casa muy linda y comoda, tiene 2 recamaras y en la sala un sofa cama, ideal para 6 personas... es un lugar relajado y tranquilo

Very clean and comfortable

comfortable clean quiet was just as it appeared on line

David was a great host. He provided many extras that we don't usually find at other rentals. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was perfect. We had a few problems finding the apartment using GPS but later saw detailed instructions inside of the app. We just stayed one night to break up a long drive but will definitely stay here on future trips.

Very quite and peaceful place. Came in for family member’s birthday and it was very close to the location of the party! Beds were super comfortable and everything was just a described. Great place to stay! Would definitely recommend if you want a quite peaceful location.

Great place in a quiet area. Enjoyed our time while visiting family nearby. I look forward to staying again.

Great place for multiple families to stay and enjoy hanging with each other.

I had an amazing stay most definitely will be staying again and soon. It felt like home away from home. And I felt secure with the cameras present. Thanks David for the piece of mind and the inspirational zone.

This house is amazing

The place looked great, very clean and kozy. Will stay again.

Our baseball team has stayed at David’s listing multiple times over the past 2 years. We are pleased every time!

As always. We enjoyed.

Everything was good, as the description

We had a wonderful stay! Nice and quiet area, and David was great at communicating!

Amazing service

Very clean and comfortable !

Please make sure the fan's and hallway bathroom is clean for the next guest. And please check the washing machine it is leaking on the floor. Everything else was amazing.

House was homey and decorated perfectly. Not to much decoration but enough. Was great for our family. Wi-Fi was a little rough but we enjoyed ourselves and would rent there again! Overall great place!

We had a small delay with or villa but David was there quickly and took care of us right away. I would recommend to others and if we get back into the area, we would stay again. Units are clean, stocked and cozy.
