Farm House stay with soaking tub and hot tub barn

Was so cozy for a weekend away

Nice little older home that has been updated nicely. Great yard for peace & quiet & relaxtion. Hot tub area is nice.

Was very comfy and clean and was quick with a minor issue but overall we enjoyed our stay in a very nice farm house and a peaceful quiet neighborhood

The main reason we booked this stay was for the hot tub. To get away from home and relax. Unfortunately, the hot tub had a terrible odor. Smelled like dirty mold and mildew. Unfortunately we couldn’t use it. The house had a dirty dog toy under the couch. and they had animals living in the fireplace (sounded like bats to me). We were watching tv and heard nothing but bats or birds coming from the fireplace. thankfully the fireplace is closed up but who wants to hear that while watching a movie or tv? Ceiling fans were caked in dust (i have a video of the fireplace and a picture of ceiling fans) as someone who used to professionally clean air bnbs i am highly disappointed. David was great with communication. I did not reach out about our issues because who wants to have someone doing all of this work on an air bnb when we’re home and all of this should have been addressed BEFORE we arrived. Bbq pit was also rusted and unable to use. Everything we were looking forward to let us down.

Positive: The house was very fitting for my group that was with me and it was close to alot of things Negative: The hot tub has brown water and didn't smell the pleasant . But it did work

We had an enjoyable weekend stay at this home. The property was exactly as described, clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated, making it a comfortable place to relax. We especially appreciated the coffee bar and the well-stocked kitchen, which made meal preparation easy and convenient. The hot tub was a great amenity and one of the highlights of our stay. There were a few minor issues that prevented our stay from being perfect. Clearer instructions for operating the hot tub would have been helpful, and there were quite a few termites present both inside and outside the home which I understand is a widespread issue amongst the region. We also encountered two Great Pyrenees dogs in the yard, and their barking was somewhat noticeable in the evening. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and appreciated the home’s comfort, amenities, and welcoming atmosphere. We would recommend it to others looking for a relaxing getaway. I would definitely stay again if I am in the area.

David communicated very well throughout our stay. We had a few concerns when we checked in, and he responded immediately with great professionalism and care. His prompt response and willingness to help were truly appreciated. He is very kind, friendly, and accommodating.

Overall it was fine. It is a quiet and peaceful location and Hammond is close by for food and such. Could use a little upkeep for the floors and furniture.

I was obsessed with the spacious bathtub surrounded by windows! Excellent location as well, close to grocery stores but still in the country.

If you’re looking for a place right outside of Plaquemine to go shopping, this is an amazing place. My husband and I loved it and the outside hot tub was on spot!

Great private home to stay at!

Amazing place. Quiet, just the place to relax. 1 hr away from NOLA and 1 hr away from Baton Rouge. If you are looking for a serene place to rest, this is the home. Grocery stores are 15 minutes away. This is a great country feel but still close to retailers and major cities. Loved it.

I had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described. The check-in process was smooth and communication with the host was quick and helpful. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and I felt right at home. I truly appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space. Would definitely stay here again highly recommended!

Close to The Barn at TH Farms.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bigner Bungalow! It was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my husband. We ran into some issues with the hot tub and David was quick to respond and was there within the hour to get it fixed for us. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we would definitely stay again.

We came from Indiana so when we got in the house it was nice to feel at home. The hot tub was also amazing haha. Property was clean as well.

For the price, it was in rough shape. Nice, private location. The hot tub was really great.

This is a private quiet property. The yard is not fenced maybe two sides look like property line fence but the front is not fenced where the highway is. The house is a cute 3 br 2 bath home that does need some work

David was a great host and the Bidner Bungalow turned out to be the cutest place to bring our pup for a lil baby moon. He was always responsive and was more than happy to help us when we needed it! Definitely plan on coming back. Also the hot tub is huuuuge !

Needed a quick night to get away and this was perfect. Wish the hot tub wouldn’t be so HOT. Lol. We didn’t use it but everything was nice. Even washed a load of clothes. Thanks.

Very pretty area! My kids had fun picking blackberries. The house was very cute! We also really liked the front porch area.

Amazing place to stay! David was super responsive and definitely helps if you need something! Only thing I’d recommend is stairs for the hot tub and maybe local tv! We love watching the news and things but couldn’t get that on the tv! Everything else was amazing! Very clean easy to get into and felt right at home! We are actually booking to stay again in a few weeks!

This is our 2nd stay and we loved it just as much! The house is close to family in the area and nice to have them over for lunch! It’s great that we can bring our doggo! He loves the yard!

Returned to Louisiana after many years away for a wedding and this was the perfect place to stay. Peaceful, beautiful property. Plenty of room for the dogs to play in the yard and the porch made for a relaxing cup of Joe. I’d definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for two months while in the process of moving from out of state and David was extremely helpful and accommodating! This house was the sweetest little home away from home for our family. We are so thankful for our time there and highly recommend any of David’s properties for your stay in the area!

Small home but nice and peaceful.

We are in our 60's and found the hot tub to be a little too cool at 92° and difficult for us to use without steps. Also, we were unable to use the grill as it had not been cleaned. So, we opted for the oven, but there were no baking pans. And, the kitchen has no sharp knives. We visited the Dollar Store to purchase what we needed. Otherwise, we enjoyed our visit and the house is very nice. Becky

Great location for Southeastern graduations! I appreciate how quick David answered my questions and responded to concerns. The front porch is a great place to relax and enjoy the moment (oversized rocking chairs were the best!).

We love our stay. House was great. Awesome soaker tub and beautiful hot tub outdoor space. Furniture was beautiful and house was well decorated but not overly decorated. Great for a family! Host was great and responded quickly to any questions.

Very quiet, peaceful stay. I will say the 3rd bedroom would be more so for kids than an adult. We had 3 grown men and the 3rd room just didn’t accommodate a 6’5” man. But overall nice stay. Would recommend and stay again.
