Very happy with our VRBO in Hammond, La. Accurate listing and great, prompt communication with the host. David was very accommodating. Another plus - Hammond has a lot of very good restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was perfect for our overnight stay after a long day of traveling. Check-in was super easy, and the place was clean, comfortable, and ready for us when we arrived. We loved that it was dog-friendly, and the neighborhood was quiet and private, which was really nice. The beds are on the smaller side since the options are full or twin, but they worked just fine for us. Overall, it was exactly what we needed, and we’d definitely stay here again!

We had a great overnight stay to break up a long drive— it is always a refreshing pleasure to stay in one of David’s places. Sincere thanks for hospitality of sharing the clean, beautifully decorated place/s. It is greatly appreciated.

HONEST and TRUE review. Eastgate was super clean, easily accessible and right near everything in downtown Hammond. Plenty of space for 7 of us and David was very responsive to whatever we needed. Roku tvs in every room with plenty of free options to watch when the weather is gross. Backyard is shared with unit B but that isn’t a no-go item. Neighborhood is nice and not a huge party atmosphere. Washer and dryer set up are in great shape and dishwasher with available wash tabs was a nice touch. Coffee pods and keurig for use as a guest was also very much appreciated. As is becoming customary in short term rentals: bring your fans if you’re used to sleeping with noise and there is a programmable thermostat on the wall that will reset the AC to 75 at some point in the night. Understandable in case a tenant forgets to set it where it goes. Will definitely stay here again.

David’s home was exactly what we needed! Perfect size for my family, pet friendly, great location, central to everything. David was very responsive in his communication with me. We found our favorite Hammond home. I’ll definitely book again when we are traveling to Hammond.

Great place!

There was a delay with getting the first and second locations ready because the cleaning crew was running behind schedule. I have to be honest our host, David, was awesome. Excellent communication. Within minutes, he arranged a new location for us on the same street, and it was actually nicer than our original booking very, relaxing, roomy and spacious.

Great Place!

Great location for our needs. Adjoining duplex was loud at 3:00 o’clock in the morning. Served its purpose as we were only there for 1 night. Missing garage remote so couldn’t really park in garage. Clean.

This was a place in Hammond that met our needs for myself and 4 work mates for a single night. Not much else other than it’s a place with beds!

We were traveling for a football tournament in the area. The place was extremely nice. It’s located in a nice neighborhood! The only thing I want to mention if you plan on cooking there’s only like 2 small pots, a cooking sheet, a few utensils. OVERALL: I will stay here every opportunity and have nothing negative to say.

This place was very nice and well kept. I appreciated the privacy of the back porch. The battery to the front door (lock) died and David was very prompt in coming to fix that issue. Although the drive from downtown was a doozy it was well worth it for the space. I would definitely recommend this place to my family!

Great stay. We got confused because of rain and parked at the next house but everything else was good.

Overall, the AirBNB was a good deal- clean, neat and comfortable. The only con we noticed was that the bed frames (boxes) for the full and queen beds were too long for the mattresses. They stuck out from the end and it caused us to hit our shins which was quite painful! This needs to be fixed in case an elderly person runs into the boxes and damages their legs.
