Great place to stay close to Hammond. We’ve stayed with David prior and he’s always been a fantastic host! Place was super clean and everything was just as expected! Thanks again for a great stay!

The stay was ok for one night before getting to our final destination. House not super clean but ok for what we needed which was just a place to sleep for the night. Several things noticed to be broken.

David's place is not only affordable but offers a clean, safe place to overnight. The bed was comfortable and just what we needed for a quick stop over. I appreciate that David was ready for a last minute reservation and still provided a clean home.

The immaculate finding the home was very easy. The area was safe and quiet. The home was very cozy, which made it feel extremely homely. There was even a car garage, which we enjoyed because one of the nights it rained really hard and we were able to pull right into the garage. David responded to everything that I needed. I would definitely rent from him again.

It was odd that when we booked we were told apt. A, but check in day, it was switched to apt. B. Then, hours before chemin, we were sent a "we hope you enjoyed your stay" message. Confused, and worried our reservation had been canceled, I reached out. Eventually the host responded that there were no errors in his message (implying I read it incorrectly). Other than that and the comunication issue, all else was fine.

We have stayed in several of David’s properties on this street before and like the others, this one was nice and comfortable! Love being able to park in the garage for unpacking and packing, comfy furniture, nice comfortable beds and plenty of soap and linens. Will stay here again! Thanks!!

We stayed one night after going to thr Renaissance Festival. The house was clean, nice, easy to get to, and even accommodated parking for a dually truck. The neighborhood was quiet and centrally located.

Ive stayed at many of the bnbs on Eastgate, and I have had a wonderful experience everytime

Although there were a few minor problems , I really enjoyed my stay and I would visit again.

This was a lovely property with extremely accommodating hosts, and a crazy good value to boot. The house was meticulously clean, the check-in and check-out instructions clear and simple, the beds comfy and the neighborhood quiet. This place was exactly what we needed for a quick overnight for a wedding down the road, and we'll look for the owners' other properties if we need to spend time on the North Shore in the future.

we stayed here last year too for renfair and will most likely be back next year. the place is super nice!

We needed a place to stay on a busy weekend in Hammond that was convenient to downtown. I originally booked a different unit & there was an issue with it. David was very proactive in contacting me & getting it sorted before we even left on our trip. The replacement unit was slightly bigger. The place was cutely decorated, very clean, beds were comfy, and AC kept us cool. I would def recommend this property.

Have stayed with David before while in Hammond, and again … he did not disappoint at all! David is friendly, responsive and very helpful. Had a light go out in bathroom, and he was quick to respond with dropping off a replacement bulb. He always has the best coffee ready for the Keurig too!!

Great place to stay

Positive: Location and cleanliness Negative: Did not have even toiletries

In town for a funeral and this place was definitely large enough to accommodate six guests without feeling smothered. There were a few stains on the bedding in the primary bedroom and the refrigerator was not the cleanest but I always do a complete wipe down upon arrival. There was an incident with maintenance entering the place to make repairs to the refrigerator while I was asleep without any prior notice by the host. Safety is a huge priority and this left a very bad impression. Another issue, the water in the entire unit barely warms (shower, bathroom faucet, or kitchen sink) and when it does, it takes forever. This place was in a convenient location in a quiet neighborhood and served its purpose for this stay but I’m not sure I would book again.

We needed a place to stay near my sister in law’s house. David’s house was very close and we had a wonderful stay.

Great place for our short stay - all good things to stay and comfy beds and plenty of them for our family size.

Location, location, location! Just far enough away from NoLa (IYKYK). Loved staying here! Great location with easy access to highways. Also lots to do within a short driving distance. Super cute house. Bed was comfy as well as great, soft linens. David was extremely responsive to messages as well! Would definitely stay again.

Great house, tons of space enough for a large family. A very comfortable place to relax after a long day in the Louisiana heat. Child and pet friendly. The beds were all super comfortable. Great host communication, and was promptly able to handle requests to extend our booking early and on the backend.

This place is definitely worth what you pay for such a beautiful place to stay each room was amazing everything worked and fit all of us we were able to clean all of our clothes and able to rest nicely we’d definitely definitely recommend this place no matter if it’s one night or a weeks it’s the best and you won’t have any worries and the host is very nice and responds super fast too so 10/10 experience!
