We stay here semi regularly as we make family trips to another state. It’s generally very clean and nice. This time the rate was higher and one of the beds had a very uncomfortable mattress (which David said will soon be rectified). Overall this chateau wasn’t as satisfactory but I’ll still give five stars since I have history with the place and have few issues. David has always worked with us to resolve anything that’s come up.

This is a very difficult review to write. We have come to expect a certain excellency from Airbnb hosts. We’ve stayed in quite a few, and generally choose Airbnb over hotels. This was the first time that we’ve had a bad experience. We arrived in the middle of night after a long trip to find that our unit had not been cleaned at all. Our host was quick to respond, and moved us into another unit. The AC unit froze, so he moved us into yet another unit. It was very musty smelling! It wasn’t cleaned well at all, and in need of maintenance. Our comforter was dirty. And all the smoke detectors were gone. Only wires hung where they used to be. We only stayed two days, but had to be moved three times. We were thankful for his quick responses, but disappointed that he not once apologized!! We visit the area often. We will make sure that we never stay at one of his places again.

Todo muy bien como para ir a pasar un fin de semana por allá en mi caso fue algo de ida y vuelta pero si, es recomendable el lugar todo estuvo bien muy fácil de entrar al apartamento tuve las instalaciones necesarias para poder entrar y salir gracias David

I had the best experience with this property and host. the house was perfect and remote. the beds are phenomenal!! host even though of little things like laundry pods, dish soap, trial size hygiene product, trash bags etc. Check in was easy and this property was literally 30 minutes from everything we wanted to do. we did swamp tour, Mardi Gras, and visited Baton Rouge. We absolutely had a blast. and the flooring was perfect 🥰 lots of space and hangers for clothes. Super happy and we will definitely be back.

Davis was a caring and responsive host. Home is in the country but the quiet is wonderful for a good night’s sleep. Three really good sleeping places in this home; it’s still needing a few warm touches. Roomy bathroom and living/kitchen area. A neighborhood of similar condos so other people are around.
